Hybrid Role: Event & Media Assistant

About the Role:

Join us as an Alchemy Apprentice, supporting apothecary events through hands-on herbal wellness and ritual work as well as capturing creative content. Together, we’re reclaiming and recentering wellness within Black, Brown, and Queer communities, creating space to learn, heal, and grow in unity.

This hybrid role blends event assistance with photography and videography, perfect for creatives eager to learn and grow in community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with event setup and breakdown
• Capture photos and video; deliver 1 edited reel per event
• Provide general event support as needed
• Grant full access to all event media for marketing

Requirements:

• LA Based with reliable transportation
• Passion for decolonizing herbalism, ritual, community, and overall wellness
• Availability for 2+ events per month
• Photography and/or videography experience
• Comfortable in fast-paced, interactive environments
